On the island of Brava, customer dissatisfaction with the telecommunications company Alou is growing by the day due to the poor quality of the internet. In recent weeks, the service has been marked by constant network outages and slowdowns, making it difficult to access essential applications and digital platforms.

In statements to Inforpress, Gerson Delgado pointed out that using banking services and other applications has become a challenge: "We pay for the service, so we demand quality. Often the internet leaves a lot to be desired," he said, calling for urgent improvements.

Another customer, Mário Jorge, reported that he recently had to deal with a malfunction that forced him to replace his router. Although he recognizes that the company is already aware of the problem and is implementing an improvement project, he believes that customers cannot continue to pay the same amount for a poor service. "More and more people are looking for alternatives, like Starlink, because of the speed and stability it offers," he warned.

In the same vein, Eurico Barros said he noticed a sharp drop in the intensity of the mobile network, which led him to believe that it was a fault with the phone itself. "We're paying for a service that doesn't correspond. The situation needs to be resolved because customers are not satisfied," he stressed.

Questioned by Inforpress, Alou denied the existence of any significant anomalies in the network, pointing out only a few faults that it considered "normal".

The Bravense population, however, hopes that the situation will be resolved quickly, fearing that the lack of quality service will lead to a flight of customers to other operators.
